| | The story of Noahs birth... One beautiful Friday morning I woke up with mild contractions, although I didnt know for sure this was the "real thing". My husband and I were going to breakfast with his parents, and we decided it would be a good idea if we put our hospital bag and car seat in the car. Through out the day I had contractions, but they were light. Then I started to bleed a little bit and decided to go to the hospital. When I got there, they had checked me and I was only at 3 cm, and they were going to discharge me. I was so bummed out! About an hour later, they checked me again and I was at 4. Needless to say they kept me!:D It was a pretty nice experiance. I had my family there, my in laws were there too. After about 3 hours, they broke my bag of waters, and then the contractions really started to get painful. Determined to have a natural birth, I turned down any pain killers, plus the fact that I just didnt like the idea of having a needle stuck in my spine. After 9 hours of labor, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy 9 pounds 4.6 oz, 21 and a half inches. I could hardly believe the doctor when he told me how much Noah weighed. Since then I have had a daughter, named Chloe she was 7 pounds, 10 oz, also no pain killers ( she didnt give me a chance to ask for them since she came within 45 minutes) and we are expecting our 3rd and final baby very soon.
