| | Since this was my 2nd child..I have to say it was a breeze. Not to minimize the pain at all because it hurt like hell! Anyway...Sarah was born on her due date at 8:04 AM. I woke up at 2 AM thinking I had major indigestion but over the course of a few hours it was BAD as it came and went. My husband insisted on aclling the nurse Midwife but I insisted it was not labor! HA! We made it to the hospital with an hour to spare and I did all my laboring standing up with my hands on the bed as my midwife gave me back massages. That made a TON of differance! To make a long story short...6 hours after the first pain..my little Sarah was placed on my Tummy..something I had missed with my first daughter due to complications. It was truly a wonderful moment. I went home 24 hours after her birth ( MY CHOICE ) and she made her debut at my best friends son's 1st birthday party at 1 day old. Yes..I'm crazy and yes I was very tired but I couldnt miss the little guys 1st birthday : )
