Ashashjohnson's Story Walker 8/16/2002 My pregnancy with Walker was plagued from the start. having just suffered a miscarriage, I was worried from the beginning. I had good reason to be. I went through continuous kidney infections, a terrible car accident, and pre-eclampsia before my Dr. decided to induce labor on August 15th, 2002. I arrived at the hospital at 11 am. where my dr. gave me cytotec. I started having vontractions pretty quickly. and then he started pitocin a few hours labor.. at 7:30 that evening when i was only dialated half a cm, my dr. "broke my water"... i asked for my epidural at 11 pm. an at 5:30 am on August 16th (yes the next day!) the epidural man finally came in. i was only dialated 3 cm!!!!!!he did my epidural laid me back down and i was fully dialated and ready to push. my son, Walker was born at 6:10 am.
