Well my pregnancy was very easy....no morning sickness. When I was 28 weeks I went to the hospital and they told me that I was having contractions every 3-5 minutes. My doctor gave me medication to stop the contractions, in which I took unitl I was 36 weeks. My due date was November 22 and I started having contractions on November 9th. I went to the hospital and I was only 1 centimeter dialated. They kept me and around 4am I got my epidural....Heaven....It took me until about 3pm on Sunday the 10th to get to
8 centimeters. I pushed for 2 hours and Sierra just didn't want to come..So I had to have a C-Section. I had my beautiful bundle of joy at 5:31pm....I was only in recovery for 10 minutes and they rushed me back in to have surgery because I would not stop bleeding..The last thing I remember was that I kept telling my nurse that I didn't want to die...I kept hearing doctors say that I didn't look good and they put me under...That was Sunday night, I didn't wake back up until Tuesday afternoon. They finally got the bleeding to stop. I almost died because I lost so much blood...I didn't leave the hospital until the following Saturday. When I got home, it was hard to get around because my body was still so swollen. I was in so much pain...6 weeks later I went for my check-up and my incision was swollen. I had to get x-rays done and they said that I had an infection and that they would have to insert a tube in my stomach to get the infection out, so therefore I was in the hospital again for 2 days...I don't think I fully recovered for another 2 months.
That was almost 1 year ago and things are going great. Sierra will be 1 in about 10 days and life is good.
