- Stores prepare Baked Goods and other Hot Food during peak hours to make you hungry while shopping
- Stores place Bakery and Deli near the entrance of the store so that you smell the food as you enter and you are hungry while shopping
- Stores place high priced snacks and toys at the checkout lanes
- Stores display sales and nonsale items on the main aisle endcaps
- Stores advertise one variety of an item and people often assume that all varieties are on sale and do not even notice when checking out.
- Stores place higher priced brands at eye level and the generic and lowest priced brands lower on grocery aisles
- Stores advertise low price meat but you have to buy large quantities of the meat to get that price
- Stores that have great Sale Items often sell that item at a loss and must make up for it by having higher everyday prices.
